has really put new meaning into the word exploration.
Today we are not exploring new lands, but new technology.
We are at the beginning of the next revolution for mankind, in a
sociological view point.
By this I mean, the development of ideas that greatly affect mankind.
The first being the domestication of animals and the cultivation of crops.
This was the neolithic revolution.
This allowed mankind to set up a permanent location where they no longer
needed to travel large distances to find food.
They could grow their own. The next revolution was the industrial
revolution.
We all still know the impact that one had on mankind.
These two revolutions had a major impact on mankind all over the globe.
This new revolution, the technological revolution is starting to have this
impact at this very moment.
With the advancement of computers at the present rate who knows where we
will be in the next ten years.
With the rapid advancement of technology, the price of computers is dropping
so low that eventually most of the population of the western world could own
one.
I find it very exciting to be a part of this major advancement in mankind.
Being able to see the impact that it is having right at this moment in our
society.
Being able to see and be a part of the development of this technology and
the positive affect it will have on mankind.
Well after that statement I guess I should introduce myself to you.
